Vincent Sitzmann from MIT is visiting our lab and gives insights to his amazing work on neural scene representations.

According to "Papers with Code", Darius' and Linus'  Paper "ADOP: Approximate Differentiable One-Pixel Point Rendering" was the "most talked about paper in social media". Congratulations! See the project page (https://github.com/darglein/ADOP) for more information.

We welcome Bernhard Egger as new Professor at our chair. Bernhard holds a PhD in Computer Vision from the University of Basel and has spent the last three years as a PostDoc at MIT. He joined our group in September to build up the new "Cognitive Computer Vision Lab".

Nikolai Hofmann won the Best Paper Presentation Award for his presentation of the paper "Interactive Path Tracing And Reconstruction of Sparse Volumes" at I3D (http://i3dsymposium.github.io/2021/awards.html). Congratulations!
